Have a tight spot, low hanging wires, or obstacles? In select areas we have a machine called a "Mule" used to haul the building from the truck to the site. It allows us to overcome almost any delivery concern you may have. With the use of a Mule buildings can be maneuvered through openings 1' wider then the building width. If you feel your site may need a mule call to see if it's available in your area. Built on Site is also available for areas where the mule is not available
Delivery, leveling and set-up are included in most prices within our service area. Our service area may vary from building to building, if you are unsure if your location is within our service area or if you'd like a price on additional mileage charges please call 1-800-289-0988.
Delivery Concerns
·Buildings are delivered fully built ( unless you purchase a built on site building). We must have adequate access to deliver the building. If you are unsure about the delivery please call, it's possible we can have someone come look at your property and evaluate the situation. We also have a machine called a "Mule" which allows us to maneuver buildings in tight areas. ·Where is your building going to be placed? ·Are there any leveling issues; if so how unlevel is your lot? ·Is there a fence around the area where the building will be placed, if so how wide is the gate opening? (Gate opening must be at least 2foot wider than the width of building being purchased) ·If gate opening is not large enough can you have a portion of the fence removed in advance? ·Are there any lateral lines in your backyard? ·Are there any electrical or phone lines that could restrict delivery? ·Are there any trees or landscaping in the way of delivery? ·How wide is your drive way? ·Does the eave of your house overhang the path of delivery? ·The delivery truck is 45 foot long and in some cases, driver will not be able to maneuver the truck to distant areas of the yard until he has cleared the house. Please choose an alternate location, if driver is unable to place building in initial chosen location. ·The building should be available for delivery in 3-4 weeks, weather permitting and the delivery driver will contact you when building is ready for delivery. We also sell display models if you are in a hurry. ·Be advised, you should inform the driver, when he calls, if it is too wet, too snowy, too icy, etc., to deliver (The delivery truck is very heavy, being able to walk in the yard is not an indication that we can drive into the yard) If the yard is too wet or soggy and there is chance the truck may become stuck or leave ruts in the yard we will reschedule. (We can deliver when the ground is frozen) ·Leveling up to 16 inches is included in the price. (One time leveling only) The building may come out of level over the lifetime of the building, but re-leveling is a fairly simple procedure and can be done by you. We do not block the entire building 16 inches, only the area that is needed to bring it into level, some areas of the building must remain on the ground or no more than 4 inches off the ground. It is your responsibility to have the concrete blocks needed for leveling (These can be purchased at your local hardware store). ·Customers purchasing garages will have to provide their own access to the garage, i.e., a ramp, etc. We highly recommend a level area upon which to place a garage due to the intended purpose of the building.
