This is a kit program that marries quality with unimaginable pricing and delivery. We have studied our competition , and found that the biggest flaw is the stability of the kits. In most reviews we read that consumers stated that they had to go back and buy additional materials in order to beef up the stability of the kits. With our kits, and the materials we use, this won;t be an issue. We also found that with any structure, you have to have a strong base, and most all kits lack the timber frame runners under the floor. Without them, over time your floor joists will pull apart and the floor will sag or become unlevel. Our kits start with 4"x4" treated runners under our floor. The siding that we use has a 30 year warranty, but the biggest factor is other kits piece their walls together. Our walls use a solid piece of primed smart panel siding, for strength.
Our floor joists are 16" on center, using 2"x4" studs, and the floor is on 3/4" OSB flooring. At one time OSB was not a very accepted product, and was called particle board, which would crumble with exposure to water. That is not the case now. OSB is actually stronger than plywood flooring. The way it is manufactured, and the new technology with how they glue it together makes it a strong and durable product.
Our wall studs are 2"x4", and on 24" centers. We also use a 2x4 wall bottom plate, which most kits don;t have. We also use 7/16 OSB roof decking. Our kits are 100% pre-cut ready to build, with easy to follow instructions. All nails and hardware is included.
NOTE: The only thing not included is shingles and paint.
All kits are banded, wrapped and shipped directly to the customers home.
